A day to celebrate the Wonder Woman who storms your room with that drop-of-the-hat chicken soup whenever you're feeling even the slightest bit sniffly.
A day to honor the person who birthed you, raised you, organized your bar/bat mitzvah, and criticized you for every non-Jew you brought to Seder.
A day to bask in the glory of motherhood.
(Or, as our moms used to call it, "just another day" as they stared out the window with their passive-aggressive sighs.)
